The CEMIC (Center for Integrative and Complementary Medicine), led by our PI, Professor Chantal Berna Renella, is pleased to announce the exceptional participation of Prof. Eric Garland at its upcoming training symposium. This event will take place on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, in the Alexandre Yersin Auditorium (BH08) and will also be accessible online.
Professor Eric Garland is the director of the Center for Mindfulness and Integrative Health Intervention Development and the associate director of integrative medicine in supportive oncology at the Huntsman Cancer Institute in the United States.
His lecture will focus on the theme: “Mindfulness-Oriented Recovery Enhancement: Clinical Outcomes and Neurophysiological Mechanisms of a Novel Integrative Therapy for Chronic Pain and Opioid Use.”
